Abstract :Studies have been conducted in the form of forest land cover mapping at Mountain Timau, Timor island, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, by comparing changes in land cover classification vegetation for 12 years from 2005 to 2016 (2010 and 2011 data does not exist). Classification method used is Maximum Likelihood Classification / MLC using LANDSAT satellite remote sensing data. From the mapping of forest areas in the Mountain Timau, the amount of forest area showed declining trendline from year to year. These results indicate the occurrence of a negative pattern of vegetation change that is decreasing the density of the forest vegetation and reduction of the total area of ??forest and pasture area increased over a period of 12 years. As the area is natural, it can be inferred global climate change is one of the causes of this vegetation change, same as some places in the world.

Abstract : Conducted research on determined and mapping of the value seismic coefficient by using 335 grid points in East Nusa Tenggara. The data which used are earthquake historic data with have condition of magnitude certainty =5 SR and deep =80 km in periodic 1977-2007, with the limitation region 60S-130S and 1180E-1290E. These data were taken from BMKG and USGS. By using the results of maximum peak ground acceleration and gravity acceleration value which using gravity latitude correction for every grid points, therefor the value of maximum seismic coefficient can be determined by comparing the value of maximum peak ground acceleration with gravity acceleration for ecah grid points. After the analysis, so that maximum seismic coefficient value in East Nusa Tenggara is determined. Data input from maximum peak ground acceleration Katayama’s formulation yield the value of maximum seismic coefficient is 0.30236. Data input from maximum peak ground acceleration Donovan’s formulation yield the value of maximum seismic coefficient is 0.2335 and data input from maximum peak ground acceleration Murphy-O’Brein’s formulation yield the value of maximum seismic coefficient is 0.107720.

Abstract :A research of the preliminary study absorption spectrum of compounds of extract Moringa leaves (Moringa Oleifera L.) from Marungga Pah Meto Group TTU Regency has been done. The aims of this research are to determine the absorption coefficient value and energy gap value of compound of extract Moringa leaves. Moringa leaves powder was extracted by maseration method, then evaporated by evaporator, furthermore diluted with ethanol. These samples are made three concentration ( 100 ppm, 200 ppm, and 300 ppm )respectirely then analyzed using UV-Vis Spectrofotometer. Based on their absorption spectrum data analysis, absorption range of these samples with concentration are from 200 nm to 691 nm. Energy gap value is 1,79 eV and its absorption coefficient value is 170.4 m-1. Based on its energy gap value, compound of extract Moringa leaves from Marungga pah meto group TTU regency could be classified as semiconductor material group.

Abstract :Has designed a software to recognize the form of pearls by utilizing digital image radiographic X-ray results. This study aims to help detect unevenness shape of pearls. Techniques of image processing and pattern recognition algorithms with the chain method is used to represent the image of the contour, the system is designed to use the programming language of Borland Delphi 7, based with the Groove system starting from the input image formats such as BMP Pearl oysters (grayscale), image processing, and output of the system in the form of a comparison length between the fingers perpendicular to each other. If the comparison is the same, then the image of Pearl detected circular. System design results obtained showed that pattern recognition algorithms capable of detecting image forms a Pearl. The results of the detection will be getting better if the image of x-ray radiography results are inputted has a good quality.

Abstract :An inversion has been carried out againts the seismic data of PSTM 3D at Najlaa field in the Northern West Java basin. The method used is elastic impedance to identify lithology and hidrocarbon distribution of sandstones reservoir in the layer of Cibulakan Formation, Z.2210. AVO inversion has been carried out to get intercept, gradient, elastic impedance reflectivity, near angle stack, and angle stack. The AVO graph analyzing and angle stack attribute are used to determine amplitude response of the offset used to determine AVO anomaly class. From the result of sensitivity analysis showed that elastic impedance has the most sensitivity in the separation of sandstones lithology and mudstones in the angle of 30 degree. It is approved in the mapping of lithology distribution. Further crossplot analysis has been carried out between elastic impedance log angle in 30 degree againts gamma ray log to distinguish sandstones lithology and crossplot between lambda-rho log to gamma ray log to determine the indication of hidrocarbon fluids. The result of AVO analysis showed the response in the layer Z.2210 included in IIp AVO anomaly located at twt 1794 ms to 1799 ms in UI-10 well logging. Elastic Impedance mapping 30 degree inline 1141 showed that target zone of sandstones lithology has a value of 1410 (m/s)2*gr/cc to 1570 (m/s)2*gr/cc with region spread of the sandstones distribution in reservoir layers Z.2210 which has an orientation toward Northeast-Southwest.

Abstract | Full Text |
Abstract :Has conducted research in the area of the rice field at Oesena Village, Sub-district of Amarasi, Kupang Regency, Nusa Tenggara Timur. for exposure to natural radioisotopes. The aims of research to map the distribution of the radioisotope in the rice-fields exposure suspected to be contaminated radioisotope of the hill demons. The method used consists of observation, mapping, and analysis of data interpretation. The data obtained in research in the field is the value of the radiation count per minute (cpm), elevation and latitude and longitude of data, these data are then used for producing a map of the distribution. The results showed the highest radiation count value is 33 cpm and the lowest is 8 cpm. Having mapped the known area of high count value in two areas, namely 736 m2 of total area 33.024 m2 and 128 m2 of total area of 21.168 m2, with the highest accumulation region 1 is located in the western part, and a second region located on the eastern side. Chopped radiation on the location of rice fields are still within the tolerance limits according to the standard minimum hazard (33 cpm) as allowed.
